Lori

Lori
Mrs. Lori Mirabella danced since she was a young girl. She has learned different styles of dance such as jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical and gymnastics. She grew up in Delray Beach, FL and went to Atlantic High School. She was on their competitive dance team called Eagle-Ettes Dance/Drill team where she learned her discipline and her dedication to dance. She traveled with her team to State and National Competitions, performed for the Super Bowl 1/2 time show in 1989 and the Miami Heat 1/2 time show and did a performance for Disney.

Ms. Lori later taught cheerleading to Pop Warner kids, PSLAA and students of Rivers Edge Elementary 5th grade students as an elective. Ms. Lori has always had a passion for dance. She started a dance/drill team of her own here in Port St Lucie for ages 5-18. The City of Port St Lucie quickly picked up her program where she taught and directed close to 80 kids. The students performed in local events such as Tree Lighting Ceremony, Port St. Lucie parade, Ft. Pierce parade, Stuart parade, any City event, and Mets Stadium. She also lead students to State and National Competitions, Kids performed in 1/2 time show for the Orange Bowl, opening games at Miami Heat Basket ball game, and Universal Studios Hard Rock Cafe performance. The St Lucie Miss-Ettes was recognized and awarded by the City Mayor (Mayor Minsky)

Ms. Lori took Master classes from teachers such as Darrin Henson (MTV's choreographer to Brittney Spears, NYSYN, J-Lo, Ja Rule and Ashanti), Fatima (choreographer to Will Smith, Michael Jackson, Back Street Boys, and the Gap commercials), and Chuck Maldonado (choreographer to Pink and Usher).

Ms. Lori has been married for 26 years to a very supportive husband and together they have 2 kids ages 23 and 20. This will be Ms. Lori's 3rd year teaching jazz dance to kids at Club Pure. She would like to use her discipline and her passion for dance to see kids become successful.

My favorite quotes are "What the Mind Believes The Body Achieves" and "Dancers are the athletes of God".
